Pretty Little Liars Fashion and Beauty: Hanna Marin

Fashion:

Hanna Marin (played by Ashley Benson) has a really feminine yet sometimes edgy fashion sense. Hanna is definitely the fashionista of the group. I would definitely say that it is a really modern, edgy and feminine style. I love the way that her outfits are all feminine but they have hints of edginess thrown in to reflect Hanna's personality. I personally would wear lot's of her outfits and add aspects of her style to my own.

Hanna Inspired Outfits:

Tips:

• Layer up on jewellery. You will often see Hanna wearing large pieces such as earrings, necklaces and rings. Try wearing two or even three different necklaces that all match to add definition to your outfit.
• Pick you signature colour. Hanna's signature colour is definitely blue. In almost all of her outfits there is something blue either an item of clothing or a piece of jewellery. Find a colour that you like and that suits your skin tone.
• Grab a jacket/blazer. Hanna usually has some form of outerwear in every outfit she wears. Channel her style by pairing a structured menswear inspired blazer with fun flirty tops and dresses.
• Accentuate your waist. Hanna defines her gorgeous waist by wearing belts and structured blazers and shirts. Copy this by stocking up your wardrobe with belts and blazers.
• Always look your best. Hanna always looks her best. For her the school is her runway. To emulate this make sure you always look your best.

Beauty:

Hanna has a very diverse style of make-up, sometimes she will have a more natural make-up look and then sometimes she will be seen with dark smokey eyes. Both of these looks are easy to re create yourself and the diversity means that you can channel Hanna's look at any occasion.

Tips:

• Eyeliner. Hanna always uses eyeliner. Rim your eyes with a black or-if you want a less dramatic look-a brown colour to make them stand out more against your face. Gel, liquid and pencil eyeliner all work well and any can be used for this look. Hanna doesn't normally make her eyeliner crazy thick so stick to a basic, simple design. Hanna does the top and bottom so rim all around.
• Foundation. Hanna always has perfect looking skin. Copy her look by finding a foundation that matches your skin tone and apply evenly on your entire face. You can choose to either use a liquid or a powder foundation (it depends what works best for you). If you are using a powder foundation try using a brush with a short handle because this is easier to control and if you are using a liquid foundation use a Beauty Blender or a make-up sponge as these work best.
• Lips. Hanna always has beautiful lips. Use a light pink or nude coloured lip gloss to get her look. You can also use a lightly coloured lipstick to get this look. To prevent your lips from getting damaged, use a lip balm each morning.
• Eyeshadow. To channel Hanna's eyeshadow look, choose from natural colours or colours to make smokey eyes. Hanna usually has a smokey eye or a natural eye make-up look. I recommend buying a palette for smokey eyes and one for natural eyes to take the guesswork out of choosing colours that match.
• Mascara. Plump up your lashes with a volumising mascara like Hanna. Before applying your mascara, use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes. Apply mascara to your top lashes and you can apply to your bottom lashes if you want to (it's a personal preference)
• Blush and Bronzer. Apply a blush that matches your skin tone to the apples of your cheeks to give your skin a natural flushed look. Apply a bronzer as a contour to the places where contour is applied.
• Hair. Hanna has beautiful, wavy hair. Get this by using a curling iron. If you want to add extra texture to your hair use a sea salt spray or curling cream.
